Latest C.F. Martin releases for 2023

We are excited to introduce the new C.F. Martin Models that have been released: the new D-18 and D-28 Series, the new D-18 and D-28 Authentic 1937 Aged, the CEO-10 and OM BiosphereTM. 

These new instruments are excellent examples of the company's superior finishing techniques and ability to recreate the look and tone of historic guitars.

The new D-18 and D-28 Serie

The new satin finished Martin models are an addition to the already popular D-18 and D-28 line of instruments. The same specifications as the mentioned classics, now with satin finishes, offering great value.

The three versions of both the D-18 and the D-28 are either

  1. Satin finish

  2. Satin Amberburst finish

  3. Street Legend. The most convincing aged finish, the look and feel of a well played legend 

D-18 and D-28 Authentic 1937 Aged

The constant drive to improve, brought us to the new Authentic Aged version of the 1937 D- 18 and 1937 D-28. Small changes have been made that will affect the look and feel immensely. The feel of a true vintage guitar with all the stability of a new instrument.

VTS Adirondack top, complete hide glue construction, hand scalloped bracing, perfectly aged nitro cellulose finish, all attributes that will make you fall in love with this Authentic Aged Martin.

Hide Glue makes the most direct connection between the wooden parts. The VTS treatment of the top ages the wood to replicate the sound of a vintage Martin.

The result is a tactile, visual, and auditory experience that will transport you all the way back to the 1930s. 

CEO-10

This exquisite 000-14 fret acoustic guitar is crafted with gorgeous Guatemalan rosewood, and the top and its bracing are made from FSC® Certified European spruce. The top also features a 1933 ambertone finish. Other features include stunning European flamed maple binding throughout, a compensated bone saddle, bone bridge pins with abalone dots on an ebony bridge, and an ebony fingerboard with Foden-style abalone inlay. The look is completed with gold open-gear tuners and custom headplate inlay on Guatemalan rosewood. The model also comes with a Vintage Deluxe neck, which is slightly asymmetrical for comfort and playability. Each model includes a label signed by Martin CEO Thomas Ripsam and numbered in sequence. This model is limited to 100 instruments, and they'll be sure to sell out fast.

OM BiosphereTM

It's not just a guitar. It's a call to action on climate change. A reminder to preserve our planet for future generations. To show our support for the preservation and replenishment of coral reefs, which are some of the most diverse and valuable ecosystems on earth, the top is adorned with stunning artwork by renowned arist Robert Goetzl depicitng a colorful ocean scene. This model is 100% FSC® certified and only the second plastic-free guitar in production today, preceded by our 00L Earth guitar. Even the gig bag is sustainable: made from hemp—a Martin first.
