At NAMM 2026, Duesenberg Guitars announced major update to the Starplayer TV, a luxurious limited run, two new artist collaborations and a bold new Lapsteel.
In 2026, Duesenberg will be reinventing the core collection of Starplayer TV instruments with a fresh and bold selection of new color combinations, a new Tremolo System, as well as updates to the hardware to further our mission to bring artists around the world the best possible instruments available.
Alongside this, Duesenberg are also releasing the "Hanover Gold" Series with special editions of the Starplayer TV, Starplayer CBR and Paloma Series, finished in a bespoke Gold finish, limited for 2026 only.
Adding to the ever growing roster of Alliance Series Artist cooperations, we are releasing the Paul Sidoti Special Edition of the Paloma Custom, as well as a new finish option for the Joey Landreth Guitar.
Last but not least, they introduced a new member to the family of Lapsteels - The Duesenberg Kalico Lapsteel.

A Custom Gold-Metal Finish
Limited Production for 2026 The limited "Hanover Gold" Series introduces three special editions of our most popular instruments: Starplayer TV, Starplayer CBR, and Paloma.
Each model features a distinctive gold paint finish infused with metal particles and meticulously hand-processed to achieve a unique, naturally broken-in feel. The entire back of the instrument is finished in a high-quality matte black, creating a striking contrast to the bright, radiant gold top.

For the 2026 lineup of the celebrated Starplayer TV Series, we are introducing an extensive range of new color combinations. The spectrum runs from the elegant Deep Black and Everest White—the latter featuring the first-ever black binding on a Duesenberg—to two striking new Burst finishes, brand-new metallic Flake variations, and the breathtaking Balboa Pearl Series, specifically designed to come alive under stage lights.
All new Starplayer TV models feature our completely redesigned and retooled Sapphire Deluxe Tremola, metal D logos on all headstocks, newly redesigned pickguards and pickup frames in fresh color options, and an official Certificate of Authenticity.

The Kalico Lapsteel is the newest addition to the acclaimed Duesenberg Lapsteel family. Combining a classic shape and flamed maple top with all the modern features that artists love, it's the perfect addition to our lineup. It comes equipped with a single Split/King Duo-Coil pickup, offering three distinct tones via the 3-way mini toggle, along with the ingenious Duesenberg Multibender and Easy-Shift Capodaster for maximum versatility and expressive playability. Because professional players know: when it comes to Lapsteels, there is only Duesenberg.
Truly Deluxe
For 2026, we are updating one of our most graceful instruments: the Starplayer DLX. Alongside the introduction of two new high-class burst finishes—Catalina Green Burst and Light Antique Burst—the DLX also receives a tonal refinement.
It now features two classically wound Grand Vintage pickups, a 3-way rotary pickup switch discreetly positioned at the cutaway horn, and straightforward volume and tone controls for an elegant, intuitive playing experience.
Long-standing hallmarks of the DLX line—such as the twin f-holes, transparent floating pickguard, distinctive diamond fretboard inlays, and luxurious 5-ply multi-binding—remain, continuing to define the DLX as a true gem within our lineup.

Formerly known as the "Custom Shop Rusty Steel," this extraordinary instrument has been reimagined with a completely updated finishing process to create an even more spectacular effect. Its body is coated with paint infused with real metal particles, which are then carefully hand-aged to develop a heavily rusted, one-of-a-kind patina.
