Release overview

During Europe's Biggest Guitar Show we were treated to some exciting new launches that we'd like to cover in more detail in this Blog Post.

C.F. Martin OM Mikael Åkerfeldt

Metal meets Martin with the OM Mikael Åkerfeldt, a limited-edition acoustic shaped by one of progressive metal's most creative minds.

Built in collaboration with the Opeth frontman, this model pairs vintage warmth with bold, modern edge.
A torrefied spruce top and Guatemalan rosewood back deliver stunning resonance and depth, while the first-ever Low Profile Velocity neck on a traditional Martin offers electric-guitar speed and comfort.

Elegant yet shadowy details like Roman numeral inlays, black Liquidmetal® bridge pins, and European flamed maple binding make it unmistakably Mikael.

Limited to just 74 guitars, it's a singular creation that's as inspiring as its namesake.

Darkglass Anagram Entropia

Entropia a parallel processing multiband distortion plug-in for the Anagram platform that lets you bend, break, and rebuild sound across three fully independent bands.Rather than overwhelming a signal with uncontrolled distortion, Entropia allows for precise control.

With Entropia, you get two compressor types, each offering nine different modes, plus the option to bypass compression entirely. You can control compression amount and level.

Choose between four different compression ratios, and fine-tune which frequencies are compressed by adjusting the low pass filter.

Dingwall Effigy

The new Custom Shop Dingwall Effigy is now available to order.

Influenced by the Canadian architect Frank Gehry, as well as renowned guitar designer Philip Kubicki, the Effigy offers a totally transformed playing experience.

Fitted with a brand-new bridge design (in collaboration with F1 engineer Federico Pecci) and a patent applied for flipper system, all while continuing Dingwall's legacy of multi-scale innovation.

Revv D20 MKII & D20 JL

The award-winning D20 opened up a new world of guitar rig opportunities in 2019 by putting all-tube boutique clean & edge of breakup tones into a compact lunchbox amplifier with a zero compromise reactive load & impulse responses for incredible direct feel & tone. No cabinet required! 6 years later, D20 MK2 is here, featuring new voicing updates, beautiful onboard reverb, a switchable gain boost, & a new compact tolex headshell.

Joey Landreth is a longtime Revv collaborator & award-winning touring & recording artist known for his baritone slide playing, impeccable phrasing, & deep appreciation of high quality guitar gear.
The D20 JL features the same boutique tube clean / edge of breakup tones & direct performance technology as the D20 MK2 with custom voicing tweaks for Joey as well as his unique tolex, grille, chassis, & knob choices.
